><h2><strong>Student Procedures . . .<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Parking Pass<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parking Passes are $60.00 for the year \u2013 $50.00 for Platinum Students.<\/li>\n<li>You have to complete an application form with name, address, grade, tag number, and provide proof of insurance and a valid driver\u2019s license.\u00a0 Must be signed by the student and a parent or guardian.\u00a0 Also all drivers are included in the drug testing process along with the athletes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<style type=\"text\/css\" local businesses in the education of our students throughout our school\u2019s history. Our Viking pride runs deep as evidenced by participation of the community, student body, faculty, and alumni in all aspects of our school.<\/p>\n<p>East Hall High School is one of 34 schools in the Hall County School System (18 elementary schools, 8 middle schools, 7 high schools, 1 Charter Career Academy.)\u00a0 The mission of our school system is \u201cCharacter, Competency, Rigor. . .for All.\u201d\u00a0 The Balanced Scorecard is the system structure for processes as well as accountability.\u00a0 East Hall High School has used the Balanced Scorecard, our 2008 GAPSS Analysis and the East Hall High School Mission and Vision collectively to develop and implement our school improvement plan.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper. The Library Learning Commons will check out <strong>one Chromebook and one charger to each student<\/strong> at the beginning of the school year to any new 1st year 9th grade students and any student new to the building.\u00a0 Returning students from the previous year should return with the Chromebook and charger they checked out from previous years.<\/p>\n<p>Students are responsible for bringing their Chromebook to school <strong>fully charged every day<\/strong> and ensuring they have it ready to use for each class. Students should also take responsibility for keeping their device and charger safe and in good working condition.<\/p>\n<p>If a student forgets their Chromebook at home or arrives with a dead Chromebook and no charger, they will be responsible for resolving the situation. Their options are to <strong>contact someone at home to bring their device to school<\/strong> or continue the school day <strong>without a device<\/strong>. A loaner device will not be available, as we only have enough Chromebooks and chargers for each student to have one of each.<\/p>\n<p>Being prepared with a fully charged Chromebook each day is an important part of being ready to learn and participate in the high school classroom.<\/p>\n<p>Graduating Seniors will need to return all items checked out and be prepared to pay for any fines owed to the Library Learning Commons each May of their graduation year.<\/p>\n<p>Current 9th grade-11 grade students will keep their Chromebook and charger as long as they are an EHHS student, even over summer.\u00a0 If a student leaves EHHS or transfers to another school, they should return all items checked out and be prepared to pay any fines owed to the Library Learning Commons before leaving EHHS campus.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-jndnuckq-3c5727105bd604e66aac3318812fc986\">\n#top .hr.hr-invisible.av-jndnuckq-3c5727105bd604e66aac3318812fc986{\nheight:40px;\n}\n<\/style>\n<div  class='hr av-jndnuckq-3c5727105bd604e66aac3318812fc986 hr-invisible  avia-builder-el-14  el_after_av_textblock  el_before_av_textblock '><span class='hr-inner '><span class=\"hr-inner-style\"><\/span><\/span><\/div><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-2y8hrc-9-ac1eafb1b9cac386b7b3940880056664 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><h2><strong>Media Center<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The mission of EHHS Library Learning Commons is to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging space where all students can <strong>learn, explore, create, and grow<\/strong>. It is important that students feel safe, successful, and valued.\u00a0 Teaching students the strategies to problem solve in a complex society are incorporated in daily lessons and unit plans.\u00a0 Making their learning relevant helps to promote engagement and student outcomes.\u00a0 Employing a school-wide structure of 5 lesson components.<\/p>\n<p>Our East Hall School School Improvement Team meets monthly to share information and suggestions for school improvement. Its support has led to improvements in facilities and communication between stakeholders. The council\u2019s role has opened many doors for partnerships with businesses in our community.<\/p>\n<p>Local businesses and our Partners in Education support us through fundraising events, donations, teacher appreciation, scholarships, work programs, mentorships, and discounts for both students and teachers.\u00a0 Our partners are most visible on Career Day, and by sponsoring Honor\u2019s Night held each Spring.<\/p>\n<p>East Hall High School is fortunate to have a school board and central office staff that support our drive for excellence through leadership, cooperation, and partnership. Mr. Schofield and the Board of Education have provided a framework for school improvement through the Balanced Scorecard that holds all of us accountable for high standards and strong character.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div><\/div><!--close column table wrapper. Spending time building caring relationships, evaluating schedules and academic performance, and exploring options for individual student success is a daily experience for our Graduation Coach. Success on the GHSGT &amp; GHSWT has been the a challenge\/barrier to student graduation. Our Platinum Pride Viking Program was created to generate student excitement about performance on each of these tests. The Platinum Card, issued to each student who earns a passing score on all five tests on their first attempt, is loaded with incentives and discounts at school and at local businesses. Now it is not just about taking a test, it is the desire to be a Platinum Viking<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Hold teachers accountable for standards based instruction<\/li>\n<li>Set high expectations for
